Description

There are many tracks through Savernake; this track is just one example and is suitable for off road scooters. The photo of a rectangular piece of concrete was one of a pair of bearers for an old railway carriage used as accommodation for US Army soldiers when the area was an ammunition dump in WW2. There were many of these carriages. Please ignore the misplaced Tweet from Stonehenge.
